These two prominent Universities have been cooperating since 2012. At that moment, they decided to join their efforts and resources both in conducting scientific research as well educating.
In 2014, a Dutch Professor from Maastricht Doctor Herman Kingma opened a new world-class laboratory ‘Modeling Physical processes in biology and medical science’ at Tomsk State University.
Another major step was undertaken in 2015 with the Double Degree Master’s programme TOMA been started. This two-year full-time multidisciplinary programme allows students to earn Master of Biomedical Science at UM and Master of Physics at TSU.
