For over 20 years, Mr. Pronk has been actively participating in the development and strengthening of Russian-Dutch economic ties and bilateral trade.
Back to 1994, he was appointed Director General at ING Bank Russia, which became then one of the first foreign banks to obtain a banking license in our country.
After a short break, he returned to Russia as a Country Manager at Rabobank and afterwards at Fortis where he spent three years from 2006 until 2009. In the early 2000s, Mr. Pronk occupied a high position at Nikoil Financial Corporation Russia that belonged then to top 10 country’s banks.
Currently Mr. Pronk is CEO at a subsidiary of the Pension Fond of the Russian Railways– Joint Credit Systems.
Mr. Pronk has always contributed to the economic cooperation between our two nations but besides that, he has also been interested in learning Russian culture and language, which he speaks fluently.
