Summa Group &Port of Rotterdam
laureates in nomination "Outstanding contribution to the development of strategic partnership between Russia and the Netherlands"
Summa Group and the Port of Rotterdam are two companies that have shown to be very successful in developing a strategic partnership. Summa Group, a leader in the Russian ports and logistics sector, together with the largest port in Europe and one of the largest in the world - the Port of Rotterdam, signed a "global strategic partnership" agreement in 2011, which anticipates working together to develop a port-business on new markets, particularly in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Moreover, Chairmen of the Boards of both companies signed an agreement on the construction and operation of a new oil terminal in the Port of Rotterdam, in the presence of the President of Russia and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. Construction will start in 2013 and it will begin to operate in 2015. We wish this strategic partnership global success and a bright future, because great ships ask deep waters.
