The aim of RusPrix Award

The main aim of the RusPrix Award is the encouragement of Dutch companies, public organizations and individuals of politics and culture, whom achieved exceeding results in the development of business- and cultural relations with the Russian Federation. Establishment of the RusPrix Award shows major improvement in the investment climate of Russia and helps to attract attention of the Dutch government and business-elite for the positive development of economical and cultural cooperation between the two countries. It will also demonstrate mutual interest in such cooperation, as well as improve the global image of Russia.

For some years now, the economic relations between Russia and The Netherlands are characterized by a favourable and stable development. Today, The Netherlands are one of the most important commercial and investment partners of Russia and a significant increase in mutual trade has been noted in recent years: In 2005 its volume exceeded 17 billion dollars. According to the index of mutual trade, The Netherlands are one of the most important straight investors in the Russian economy. Dutch investors actively leave for the Russian market, manifesting characteristics of their environment: innovativeness and readiness for certain risks.

The RusPrix Award is conducted under the patronage of Embassy of Russian Federation to The Netherlands.

RusPrix Award - Format of ceremony
The annual ceremony of the RusPrix Award is timed as close as possible to Independence Day of Russia, which is on June 12.
The ceremony takes place in The Netherlands.
Programme of ceremony RusPrix Award consists of an official-, cultural part and dinner-reception.

Jury
Jury staff consists of the representatives of state structures, cultural organizations and creative unions.
